Encouraged by an Alexander student and sculptor to use my anantomical knowledge in the creation of figurative pieces, I began to sculpt in 2009.
Since then I use images in my teaching more frequently. A picture is worth a thousand words. Seeing balance, proportion and organization in great objects of art and looking for those definitions of beauty and good body use in my own pieces is mutually enriching - for my creation of figures and my teaching.
